IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DORMANT "INACTIVE" ACCOUNTS

If a members account with JSC FCU has not had any "live" activity for the last three (3) years it becomes dormant or “inactive”. The State of Texas requires financial institutions to escheat (remit) the funds from dormant "inactive" accounts to The State.

In order to keep the account from becoming dormant and escheated you will need to contact us by June 25th. You may call, visit a branch or click here to remove the dormant account status. 

JSC FCU recommends that you make a deposit or withdrawal at least once a year to avoid having your account become dormant. The automatic deposit of interest to the account does not count as "live" activity, and will not protect your account from becoming dormant.
