Foreign Currency Ordering & Delivery Time Frame

The online order cut-off time for next day delivery is 11:00am, Monday - Friday, excluding Holidays. Please note that exotic currencies take additional 1-2 business days to receive. For example when ordering non-exotic currencies, if you order is placed online by 11:00am on Tuesday, you have the ability to pick it up on Wednesday. If your online order is placed anytime after 11:00am on Tuesday, your order will not be available for pick-up until Thursday. Please note that foreign currency is only shipped to the Clear Lake/Main Office

NOTICE: All Federal Benefits Will Be Paid Electronically Beginning March 1, 2013

The U.S. Department of the Treasury recently announced a new rule requiring all federal benefit and nontax payments to be paid electronically. If you are currently receiving federal benefit checks, you must switch to an electronic payment option by March 1, 2013. If you are already receiving benefit payments electronically, you do not need to take any action, as you will continue to receive your payment as usual.

Getting your payment electronically by direct deposit is safer and more reliable than by paper check. With direct deposit, you don't have to worry about your check being stolen out of your mailbox and there's no need to make a trip to cash or deposit a check. Your money is on time, every time. Plus, it's better for the environment and saves taxpayer dollars.

You can switch your paper benefits check to direct deposit into your existing JSC FCU Savings or Checking Account by either signing-up online at www.GoDirect.org or you can call the GoDirect helpline at 800.333.1795. Be sure to have your JSC FCU Account Number and the JSC FCU routing number (313083992) accessible when you are signing up. Receive Your Card in the Mail

Complete the Application Online Using eDocuments:

Complete the eDocument online application with DocuSign. Electronically sign the form using a secure and intuitive online process.

Please be aware that this process may verify your identity by asking a series of random "out-of-wallet" questions, which may be created from public record and credit databases. Please also note that a valid email address and internet access is required to complete any of the eDocuments.

Once you have completed and submitted your eDocument, you will receive conformation by email that your request was received by the Credit Union. For all eDocuments, please allow at least 2 business days for the Credit Union to process your request. Your card will be sent to your mailing address on record. Please be aware that it can take up to 7 business days to receive your card in the mail once your application has been processed.

Redeem a Paper Savings Bond

If you have a paper Savings Bond you would like to cash in, you can redeem your bond(s) at any JSC FCU branch.

Wire Transfer

How much does it cost to send a wire transfer?

Domestic Wire: $15.00
International Wire: $45.00
Incoming Wire to Business Account: $5.00

All members are required to complete the wire transfer form.

What information do I need to send a domestic wire?

The credit union will need the name, address, and routing number for the financial institution. Along with the name, address, and account number for the recipient or beneficiary of the wire.

What information do I need to send an international wire?

As of October 28, 2013 all International Wires sent from a personal account are covered by new regulations. To review the new regulations please see the following: The Dodd-Frank Act: Impacts on Personal International Wires

I sent an international wire and the amount received does not match what was sent. Why?

When funds are sent outside of the U.S. the wire can be charged fees at any point without our knowledge. Wires will be routed through the necessary channels to reach their final destination. Fees can be charged at any point along the route. Most foreign banks do charge a processing fee to receive the wire. Any fees charged while in route will be debited directly from the wired funds. We are not notified of these fees at any time. Once these funds leave our institution we do not receive any further communications about them.

What is an external transfer? How do I setup an external transfer?

An external transfer is located in eBanking and allows the member to transfer to and from another financial institution.

  • External Transfers can only be used with a JSC FCU checking account.
  • Once the member has requested to use the External Transfers the accounting department will deny or approve the account within 3 business days.
  • When the member is approved they can log on to eBanking and setup a new account. The member will need the routing number, account number, account owner name, and account type for the other financial institution. Once the member adds and confirms the information, JSC FCU will send a deposit and withdrawal of $1 or less to the external account. This is to verify the account information set-up for the external account is valid.
  • The next step is for the member to verify the new account set-up. The member will need to log on to the external account to retrieve the deposit and withdrawal of $1 or less. They will log on to eBanking under external transfers, the member will click on the word verify. This will bring up a box for the member to input the deposit and withdrawal of $1 or less and click submit. The member can try the verify step three times then the verify step will be locked if they put in the wrong verify amounts. If the member has locked the verify process they will need to call the Accounting Department to have the status unlocked. Once the member has completed the verify process they are ready to setup a new transfer. This will allow the member to transfer funds to and from their JSC FCU account to another external account.
  • When the member sets up a new transfer the system will give them an effective date for the debit to take place. Once the debit clears the account the credit will post within the next three business days. For example, if the debit takes place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, the credit will take place on Monday, January 24, 2011, as long as the debit is not returned to JSC FCU.
  • The member will be charged a $2.00 fee for out bound transfers (a debit to the account).
  • The member can transfer a minimum of $5.00 and a maximum of $5000.00 per day. The member can transfer a maximum of $50,000.00 per month. The system will keep a running total at the bottom of the screen.
Where is my credit for my A2A (external transfer)? How can I cancel or stop my external transfer?

When the debit takes place, the credit will be deposited on the 3rd business day after the debit occurs.

Once the transfer is set up under external transfers it will give you the option to delete the transfer before the debit side of the entry is processed. Once the debit is processed the external transfer can no longer be deleted. JSC cannot reverse the transaction. The member will have to set-up another external transfer to send the funds back.

How do eStatements work?

Accessing your eStatement is simple, convenient and secure - once you complete the short sign-up process, you'll simply log in to eBanking and then click on 'eStatements' under the 'Accounts' menu. Depending upon the delivery option you choose, you can even receive a notification email to the email address you have registered on your account on approximately the third business day of each month, letting you know that your eStatement has been posted to eBanking. The eStatement itself will never be emailed, so your private financial information will always be safe and secure.

How do I sign-up for eStatements?

Sign-up for eStatements via eBanking 3 easy steps:

  1. Log-in to your JSC FCU account via eBanking
    • Navigate to the 'Accounts' menu and select 'eStatements'
    • From there, you will be connected to the secure eStatements screen.
  2. Next, you will be prompted to read and submit to the eStatement terms agreement
    • Please note that there are three different options to choose from when signing up, which are listed at the end of the agreement.
    • We recommend that members choose option #3: 'eStatements Only' option.
      • This option allows you to view your eStatements online at any time. You will receive an email notification when the latest month's statement has been posted to eBanking.
      • You may change these options at any time at your convenience, all from the secure eStatements screen.
  3. After choosing a delivery option and submitting your request, you can immediately begin to view, print and download your eStatements.
**If you currently do not have an email address registered in eBanking, you will need to register an email address before you can complete the sign-up process for eStatements. To do this, simply log in to eBanking then click on 'Update Personal Information' under the 'Options' menu.**
Is an email address required to received eStatements?

  • Log-in to eBanking
  • Choose the 'Options' menu
  • Select 'Update Personal Information'
I want to sign-up for eStatement but I don't have access to eBanking

If you did not already apply for access to eBanking when you opened your account, first you will need to apply by one of the following ways listed below. Please note that when completing an application, this is only a request for service and access to your accounts is not granted immediately. When your eBanking request has been processed, a letter will be sent to your address of record providing you with the necessary information to activate the service. If eSigning an eBanking Application, you will receive an email notifying you that your service has been activated.

  • eSign your eBanking Application using our eDocuments service
